The 7th Service-Learning in the Arts meeting, organized by the CLAYSS Programme specially focused on this approach for Latin America, brought together 60 educators and students from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru.<\/p>\n

Hosted by the Service-Learning in the Arts programme, the meeting focused on constructing cultural identities with presentations by leading Latin American specialists and experiences exchange. On the first day, which took place at the Organization of Ibero-American States offices in Buenos Aires, Sandra Rodr\u00edguez, Coordinator of the Cooperation and Innovation department at OEI Argentina, welcomed the participants, who shared the opening with Enrique Ochoa, Executive Director of CLAYSS, and Pablo Daniel Buj\u00e1n Matas, coordinator of the programme. Following the presentation by founder and director of CLAYSS, Nieves Tapia, there was a panel on cultural identities and solidarity service-learning in the arts, with Latin American experts such as Mar\u00eda Consuelo Tohme, from Ecuador; Jorge Armando Palacios Osorio, from Colombia; Pablo Rojas Dur\u00e1n, from Chile; and Paula Bruno, from Argentina. The afternoon concluded with an activity led by Maria Consuelo, director of Arteeducarte (https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/arteducarte<\/a><\/strong> [in Spanish]) in Ecuador.<\/p>\n

On Thursday and Friday, in the context of the conference, two further sessions dedicated to service-learning in the Arts works were held, with the public actively participating in the event.<\/p>\n
